First Post - 3/12/26

This is the FIRST Telestripper Blog Post. The reason I started this is so I could give updates in the best form I could think of possible: a blog / text. My other social media accounts mostly contain the art and creations of mine, but some creations and ongoings in the Telestripperverse are difficult to convey through a short form video. This will serve as a place to get updates on music releases, electronics projects, relevant ongoings and events, and more.

As I am typing this, I am uploading Project Abandonment to Bandcamp, admittedly the last step in the release cycle of my ambient soundtrack record. The album has been out for 7 months (WOW) and I finally remembered to put it on Bandcamp! Embarrassing, but towards the future I hope to have more smooth, properly hyped releases.

There is a new album I have practically finished, “Self Portrait” and it may also see a release in the next few weeks, along with a few singles if all goes to plan. “Self Portrait” is based on what I call “Drone Theory” , the theory that a song can be constructed by droning the same chords repeatedly over and over again. Of course, this has been proven time and time again in music history, with early alternative acts such as The Velvet Underground popularizing the idea, but Amon Duul’s “Psychedelic Underground” is perhaps my favorite in early guitar-based drone theory music.

There are 8 songs, it’s a half hour so you won’t be wasting much of your time if you heard the whole thing. The process for making these songs was relatively quick too, with recording/composition starting in December 2025 and wrapping up just in these last few weeks, with more focus going toward the new singles. A promotional video may be developed for the “Self Portrait” album/EP if I can manage my time and resources right.

The singles will lead with likely “Alienation” - “an infinite search, a swallowing of swords, in the ecstatic euphoric zone” which is not on the album and does NOT follow drone theory laws. It is a synthpop track that will replace your John Lennon and David Bowie records forevermore and when you are a grandfather, this will play in the grocery store. That is the dream (sips martini) but really I am proud of the track and my soul is haunting the WAV file that contains it.

In other news, I am attempting to finish my first official electronics project. Well, it’s not my first but I am proud of it. I started studying electrical engineering in 2018 when I was in high school. The studying was limited to all the books I could find on the internet, forum posts, and whatever parts I ordered, which many times were not correct, but through this process, I learned the labels and codes of each part. My first circuit board wasn’t until around 2021 when I started developing the Soundsplosion Cyclops and etched one using a laser printer and toxic etching chemicals. I switched to outsourcing PCBs from factories shortly after due to the much higher quality of build.

My latest project, I have been working on since 2023 I believe. This project is called “The Wompler”, an 8 voice sampler/synth for Eurorack. This is the first project where I have built a few, and actually been able to use them on stage without fear of it breaking down! The software development has taken the longest, but with each build, it has been stabilizing. Soon, I may announce the open sourcing of the project, as I do not have the resources to commercially develop this product, or the belief that it would be commercially viable at all due to the niche of the product.

Another project I have been developing is an online card collecting and fighting game. It is currently called “Marbo” but that (meaningless) name may change soon. There is not much to say about this one, besides that I hope it will be very fun when all of the basic features are implemented in the game.

Anyways, besides all of that, I have been doing College, work with Dumputer, and working with our friend Soup on a potential new project with all 3 of us. Hope all goes well, please contact me with any comments at soundsplosion@gmail.com
